The Storms

Every step of the way, in everything you do, you will be faced with decisions called Storms. These storms can bring chaos and destruction, or they can bring new beginnings. The only difference is how you view the storm. You view it by the choices you make. Scott arms his audience so that each person can decide what to do when their future storms come.

Parents

(The shock factor storm) What if there was a way to have NO curfew and respect from your parents? It can be done, with one word ...

Your Circle

Scott's dad has a very simple way to sum up life, with one shape: a circle. Your circle - or your storm - surrounds you, and it's as bad or as good as how you build it.

Tools

If you can define the kind of person you want to be, then you are half way to having the keys to the universe. The only other thing you need other than a belief in yourself is the tools to accomplish your goals.

Bullies

You can't just "say no to bullying" when you're surrounded by them behind the school and there isn't a teacher in sight ...

Teachers

Teachers are EVERYwhere.

Obstacles/Disappointment

After you've built your circle, after you've harvested your tools, after all the bullies have moved away, the one Storm that you will never be able to avoid is the Storm of Life's Obstacles.

Fear

Having a power within you and laying out goals is really good, but when it comes to actually doing it, it's kinda scary! Many people have been at the cusp of greatness - they worked so hard to get so close! - only to give up...

High School Life

You can be the smartest, fastest, strongest, funniest, or coolest person in the world ... But it means nothing without people around you. Whether you like it not, there is a Storm called "society" that you will encounter in your life, and you're going to need to be able to interact with the people in it.

The Calm from the Storm

"Life is a storm my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment; be shattered on the rocks the next. What [defines you] is what you do when that storm comes. You must look into the storm and shout... 'Do your worst ... for I will do mine.'" - Count of Monte Cristo
